WebP to PNG
Upload a WebP image and download the converted PNG file.
Not sure? Turn your internet off and try — it still works.
How it works
All processing happens locally, in your browser. Your image is never sent to any server, which keeps things more private and secure. The image is decoded and redrawn as PNG, a lossless format — useful when you need to open the image in a program or service that doesn't yet support WebP. WebP is a format created by Google that supports lossy and lossless compression, transparency and animation. Because PNG does not use lossy compression, the converted file is usually larger than the original WebP — you trade size for compatibility. It works well for photos, screenshots and logos that need to open in programs that still can't read WebP.
