Kastavo is operated with a commitment to collecting the minimum amount of data necessary to keep the site running and to continuously improve the tools it offers.

This policy may be updated as Kastavo evolves — for example, when new usage-analytics or advertising integrations are turned on. The most recent version will always be available on this page.

Most of Kastavo's tools process the values you type entirely in your browser — that data is never sent to any Kastavo server to perform the calculation or conversion.

We automatically collect basic technical browsing data (such as browser type, device and pages visited) through standard infrastructure logs, used only to keep the site running securely and reliably.

Kastavo uses cookies and equivalent technologies to remember simple preferences, such as the language and the theme (light or dark) you've chosen.

Third-party cookies for audience analysis or advertising will only be used once the services described below are activated, and always in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Kastavo plans to use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the tools are used and where we can improve the experience. This integration is not active yet.

Once activated, Google Analytics may collect data such as pages visited, time on site and device information, always in accordance with Google's privacy policies and applicable law.

Kastavo plans to display ads through Google AdSense as part of its financial sustainability strategy. This integration is also not active yet.

Once activated, Google AdSense may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history. You'll be able to manage your ad preferences directly through Google's settings.

In addition to cookies, Kastavo may use your browser's local storage (localStorage) to save preferences such as theme and language directly on your device, without sending that information to any server.

You can clear this data at any time through your browser's settings.

Kastavo does not sell personal data. Data may be shared with service providers strictly necessary to operate the site (such as hosting providers) and, once activated, with services like Google Analytics and Google AdSense, under the terms described above.

If you are in Brazil, your data is handled in accordance with the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD). If you are in the European Union, the rights set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply.

In both cases, you have the right to: confirm whether your data is being processed; access the data we hold about you; correct incomplete or outdated data; request deletion of your personal data; and object to certain kinds of data processing.

Technical browsing data is kept only for as long as necessary for the site's security and stability. Preferences saved locally (theme and language) remain on your device until you clear them.
