How it works
Handy for generating filenames, system identifiers, URLs, spreadsheets that don't handle accents well, or anywhere that works better without accents. The tool uses the browser's native Unicode normalization ("café" becomes "cafe", "naïve" becomes "naive") and doesn't depend on any external library. Only accents and diacritical marks are removed — uppercase, lowercase, punctuation, and spacing stay exactly as in the original text.
