How it works
Text copied from Word, Google Docs, PDFs, or web pages often carries "smart" curly quotes (" "), em dashes (—), and invisible characters (zero-width spaces, byte-order marks) that cause problems in systems expecting plain text — forms, databases, source code, CMSs. This tool normalizes all of that at once.
