How it works
Handy for organizing lists of names, tags, keywords, IDs, or anything structured as one item per line. Numeric order converts each line to a number before comparing — lines that aren't valid numbers are pushed to the end, sorted alphabetically among themselves. Combine it with "remove duplicates" to drop repeated items in the same pass. A → Z follows the browser's alphabetical rules: accented letters sort with their base letter ("álamo" lands before "apple"), and upper and lower case do not split the list: "banana" and "Banana" stay side by side, lowercase first (with "Ignore case" on, they keep the order they had). That option matters most when removing duplicates: with it, "banana" and "Banana" count as the same line. Empty lines go to the top (or to the bottom in Z → A); in Numeric mode they come after the numbers. Use "Remove empty lines" to drop them. Practical uses: sorting a list of emails or names to spot duplicates, organizing keywords, or putting IDs in numeric order (use Numeric; in alphabetical order, "100" comes before "20").
