How it works
The QR Code is generated entirely in your browser, with no calls to external APIs: the text or link you enter is converted locally into a matrix of encoded modules and rendered as a PNG and SVG image. The error correction level defines how much of the code can be damaged (or covered by a logo, for example) and still be read correctly — L recovers about 7%, M about 15%, Q about 25%, and H about 30% of the data. The margin controls the blank quiet zone around the pattern, which helps camera scanners locate the code.
